If you're familiar with DeFi, follow these steps to get a DeFi Index.

How to get a DeFi Index

Key Steps

1. Wallet - Use a wallet such as MetaMask

2. Network - Setup Avalanche on your MetaMask

3. Tokens - Buy AVAX and transfer it to your MetaMask

4. Login - Go to https://app.cook.finance and login with your MetaMask

5. Browse - Look through and pick an index that you would like

6. Details - Click "Details" or on the specific index to see additional information

7. Issue - Press “Issue” to issue a single token such as AVAX, USDC or USDT

8. Confirm - Confirm the transaction on MetaMask

9. Stake - Go to https://app.cook.finance/farms to stake indexes and earn additional rewards

Network - Setup Avalanche

First open MetaMask, then click on Network drop-down and then click on Select Custom RPC. Enter the following information and press save. Now your MetaMask will be enabled to connect with the Cook DAPP on MetaMask. Alternatively you can view the Avalanche guide and video tutorial here.

• Symbol: AVAX
